Louwlardus Safaris is a world-class hunting outfitter who is owner-managed by Rassie Erasmus a professional hunter and conservationist himself.
His love for the Bushveldt and game started at a young age while the responsibility to take care of the farm he grew up on dawned upon him at the age of 16 years when Rassie lost his father.
His daughter Kristin a professional hunter as well as a professional photographer herself together with his wife Theresa who takes care after the hospitality and who is also a renowned chef form part of this professional team that will ensure you experience the best times in Africa.
Louwlardus Safaris is located about 4 hours’ drive from OR Tambo International Airport in Limpopo province and stretches over 3500 hectares ( 6000 acres), offering more than 30 species all on own land. Both rifle and bow hunters can be accommodated though Louwlardus Safaris is renowned for their bow hunting.
No additional traveling is required to hunt as all is offered on one farm.
Louwlardus Safaris is not a high-volume outfitter and instead, focus on providing a limited number of high-quality hunts as they practice conservation through hunt. Every year, a game count and the pasture-carrying capacity gets calculated accurately to determine the amount of animals and also which species they need to take off.
At Louwlardus the value chain is of most importance and all meat gets consumed by both the guests and staff on the farm.
